Hunger Free Navigator™ Program

Join the Fight Against Hunger in Our Region

There is an incredible amount of food assistance resources available across San Diego County; however, understanding and navigating these resources can feel confusing or frustrating. 

About the Program

The Hunger Free Navigator™ Program is a comprehensive initiative designed to empower community-based organizations and residents in their efforts to address food insecurity. The program offers interactive training that equips participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively connect individuals and households experiencing food insecurity to appropriate food assistance resources.

Training participants will gain a deeper understanding of available food assistance programs, including information to assess which programs are most relevant to individual households. Additionally, the training provides insights on the most effective ways to ensure that connections to food assistance resources result in meaningful access.

As part of the program, participants will receive a suite of outreach tools and resource materials to help them engage with their communities and raise awareness about available food assistance resources.
