1. Keep a journal of your experience each day.

    Entries should include what you ate, the cost of your meals, any challenges you encountered, physical or emotional experiences, and any reflection or insights you're having. Check out this sample post for some inspiration.

  2. Take photos!

    We love seeing photos of the food purchasing and preparation process. Feel free to be creative with this.

  3. Use video.

    If you'd like, record short videos discussing your experience rather than writing it out.

  4. Submit your story.

    Send your text, photos, and/or video to our Communications Officer, Joe Shumate, at joseph@sdhunger.org and we will post it on the blog. Please remember, your stories, photos, and videos will be public!
